Who are we
The Account Onboarding (KYC) team is responsible for driving and focusing on onboarding process improvement projects - which are aimed to streamline workflow, increase work efficiency, and boost overall client experience along with managing and preventing any processing backlogs. This role is also responsible for maintenance and processing of the onboarding applications, KYC checks, reviewing account documentations, and answering client enquiries.Account Onboarding Administrators are also responsible for providing oversight and support to the offshore team by being involved in ongoing monitoring activities, training, and quality checks.

Your role:
Act as a point of escalation & support for the offshore team before any further escalation to AML, Compliance, or other internal teams
- The onshore support team will be required to aid the offshore team by jumping onto the existing onboarding queues to prevent any backlogs
- Maintain a working knowledge of Compliance and Regulatory requirements across all OANDA Divisions
- To provide oversight support to offshore team by reviewing error rates & feedback on quality of work which may include providing training support
- Identify areas of continuous improvement for business process flow looking for potential efficiency gaps
- Identify areas of continuous improvement for overall customer onboarding experience by working with external vendors and internal teams on the online application form
- Take ownership and prioritize different onboarding related projects (internal & external processes)
- Perform Quality check on KYC (Know Your Customer) process and ensure work is done in accordance with Onboarding Policy and Onboarding internal notes
- Ensure consistent work quality & productivity from offshore team by working closely with offshore team lead for continual feedback
- Ability to spot any positive and negative trend based on the quantitative data of KYC related work which should be escalated to the Team Lead
- Liaise between different stakeholders to meet both business and compliance requirements for the onboarding related projects
You have:
- 1 to 2 years of work experience, preferably in a KYC and administrative role
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and solution-focused.
- Attention to detail - Enjoys working in a fast-past environment with minimal room for error
