Oddysee is a brand new social travel app designed for friends to discover and plan your adventure together & share recommendations from wherever you go.
We’re looking for an energetic intern to join the team and work closely with the founders to drive customer acquisition. This is a very hands-on role, ideal for someone interested in working in an early-stage start-up in the travel industry.
Responsibilities
Work with the team to develop strategy to increase customer acquisition within target demographics (Gen Z and Millennials)
Identify and execute tactics to improve customer engagement on the app
Execute & experiment with different non-scalable & low cost marketing channels to drive new user growth and adapting quickly to user feedback and response
Lead community development by testing different channels and communication tactics. Develop regular content to drive engagement
Develop creative assets (video, images etc.) if needed to support channel requirements
Identify partnership opportunities for collaboration (e.g. creators and brands)
Work with the team to gather customer insights that will drive product development
Requirements
You’re creative. You’re good at ‘outside the box’ thinking and can come up with wacky marketing ideas
You have a strong understanding of pop culture, and are up to speed with the latest trends
You’re a communicator. You’re comfortable around people and are able to strike up conversations with strangers
A degree or background in marketing is a plus
Previous experience in an early-stage B2C start-up will be a strong plus
You must be able to commit to 3 months on a full time basis
