Global Learning Designer ( Graduate Internship)
If you are keen to build your skills in the learning domain and add value to your clients, this is the role for you. ODE Consulting operates in a fast pace and dynamic business environment in the consulting space with regional presence in China.
We are looking for a Global Learning Designer (Graduate Intern) who will be involved in working with clients on the projects involving courseware design, storyboarding for building of simulations and administering surveys and assessment tools. On-the-job-training will be provided if candidate shows interest and potential for instructional design.
Duration - 3 to 5 months with the possibility of conversion to a contract job after the graduate internship.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
The role will assist in building virtual learning content for the company’s learning and e-commerce platform. It will also :-
- Support the requirements gathering, design, testing and implementation of digitised courseware working in elements of instructional design
- Work with Clients to understand and gather user’s business requirements
- Design and develop virtual learning packages/ simulations, creating storyboards which will be delivered via a web based virtual learning platform on the internet, based on the requirements utilizing various delivery modes to enhance audience engagement and learning outcomes.
- Using digital mediums like web, video and animation to produce engaging and memorable learning experiences to support Client and company projects
- Work with the Subject Matter Experts/ Consultants to implement electronic or virtual learning modules taking into account User Experience Design elements for the product.
- Ensure the required quality standards in courseware is delivered to customers.
- Work with the Learning Technology Specialist on how to enable the content/surveys/customised simulations on learn1thing.
- Work with Clients on the set up and implementation of the learning modules, surveys or assessments
- Deliver the reports from the assessments and surveys required to the Client
- To be involved in designing of marketing collateral when assigned.
The candidate should possess the qualifications and be interested in honing or developing the skills indicated below:-
- A degree in any discipline. Relevant education and certifications in Design, Web, Digital Animation, Instructional Design or a similar discipline will be an advantage
- The ability to think about digital learning strategies and execute them on the ground
- Good knowledge and skill in computer and internet technology in a Windows environment.
- Able to perform text, audio, animation and video editing work.
- Preferably has experience using Moodle/ Articulate
- Preferably has some basic knowledge and hands-on experience with any high level programming language and concepts of User Experience Design.
- Initiative, resourcefulness, as well as good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Good Writing and Analytical Skills
- Story Boarding Skills
