Junior Social Media Marketing Executive (Fresh Grads Welcome!)

 What You’ll Do

Content Planning & Marketing:

• Get creative! Create and manage relevant, exciting, and engaging content daily across all social media platforms for all our brands to drive incremental sales and achieve business goals
• Develop a weekly and monthly social media calendar and ensure that the content is on schedule
• Increase brand awareness of all our brands through content marketing, such as planning the social media feed and writing copy for diverse marketing distributions
• Track and identify optimisation spend and performance based on insights

Designing (AI / PSD):

• Conceptualise and execute creative designs of graphic collaterals including the design, layout and production (e.g website banners on Shopify, social media posts, Facebook ads)

You will also be assigned ad-hoc duties from time to time.

Training Period

• You will undergo a training period for the first two months. During this period, you will have the opportunity to develop and oversee your own unique project which you will pitch and present to your teammates!

Requirements

Education

• A local polytechnic graduate who graduated within 5 years (2015 - 2020) or has ORD-ed within 5 years (2015 - 2022)
• Preferably from Mass Communications, Design or similar field

Skills required

• Working knowledge of Adobe suite, especially AI and PSD (Portfolio required)
• Expert knowledge of social media platforms (especially Instagram and Facebook): You know when’s the best time to post, what kind of post resonates best with different groups of people, what kind of content interests people etc.
• An eye for design for the overall look of the feed on social media platforms, ensuring that it is in line with the brand’s guidelines
• Effective verbal and written communication skills: Able to write persuasive copy
• Experience with Facebook and Google ads (Good to have)
• Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms (Good to have)

Who We’re Looking For

• Preferably you have 1-2 years of work experience in a similar field. However, we welcome fresh grads too (provided you have the necessary skill sets and passion for this job)!
• Excellent time and project management: You will be working on multiple projects with tight deadlines. If you cannot handle a fast-paced environment, then this may not be the place for you
• Not camera-shy: We love speaking to our customers directly on camera on social media!
• Active listener: You are an active and mindful listener to your customers and teammates. Listening actively to feedback from customers and teammates are of utmost importance
