OM Materials (S) Pte Ltd (“OMS”) is the Group’s marketing and procurement hub that operates out of Singapore.
With a long history of marketing ores and ferroalloys, OMS possesses an extensive trade network and an edge in connecting raw materials with buyers and users. Originally formed in the 90s focusing on the raw materials trade in China, its scope and range of action has since evolved to a global scale, albeit retaining an Asian focus.
Collectively, the division leverages the economies of scale of the Group’s operations to streamline raw material procurement and product sales. This is made possible by comprehensive product knowledge and a strong operational expertise in international trade execution.

OM Holdings Limited (ASX: OMH | OMH: 5298) is a vertically integrated manganese ore and ferroalloy company. We are engaged in the business of mining and trading raw ores, as well as the smelting and marketing of processed ferroalloys. Our latest project is a Greenfield smelter complex in Sarawak, which successfully commenced production in 2014.

- Primary role within Marketing and Trading: exposure to Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Operations
- Additional exposure to other functional areas such as mining, smelting, material processing
- Frontline sale/purchase execution and risk management
- Long term business development, sales planning, and strategy * Logistics and shipping documentation
- Manage relationships with buyers, sellers, and service providers
- Data compilation, research and analysis
Requirements:
- Degree in relevant discipline, demonstrated academic achievements, fresh graduates welcome
- Analytical and strong logical thinker, results orientated
- Self-driven team player, a good listener and good communicator
- Systematic and organized, ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure * Able to work within strict time line and autonomously to meet deadlines without compromising on quality and accuracy
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and various Accounting systems
- Excellent written and spoken communication in English and Chinese to liaise with counterparts
