Omni Digital Pte. Ltd. – Content Writer Intern (Malaysia, Remote)

As a Junior Content Writer, you will be focused on writing thought pieces and articles that educate and attract customers, and digital ad copies to engage users. This involves working closely with our marketing members and formulating content strategies. If you are passionate about the core processes that drive start-ups and growing the company, this role is for you. You will craft content for various formats and recognize that today’s digital age calls for dynamic content strategy— a mix of long and short-form copy—and you know just when to apply each approach. From short videos to how-to guides, captivating eDMs, and more.

Responsibilities 

• You’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our clients’ audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness

• Research industry-related topics

• Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services

• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication

• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic

• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics

• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)

• Update website content as needed

Requirements:

• A recognized qualification in Art, Media, Writing, Communications or equivalent would be advantageous, though not always compulsory

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and work management platforms.

• Excellent writing and editing skills in English

• Self-motivated and well organized

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• A strong and confident communicator, both verbal and written

• A creative thinker, problem solver and team player

• Experience in media creation and digital marketing would be beneficial but not required

• Ability to work under pressure

• Loves working in a fast-paced, dynamic and empowering environment
