This internship offers a comprehensive learning experience in the trading industry. Interns will primarily engage in shadowing experienced traders and working on off-desk projects. Successful interns may be considered for a permanent role as a Trader Analyst in Singapore, which includes enrolment in a training program based in London before returning to Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Shadow experienced traders to gain insights into trading strategies and market analysis.
- Assist in various off-desk projects, including research, development, and implementation of new trading strategies.
- Support future and OTC executions.
- Collaborate with the Onyx Advisory business to produce trader notes and trading reports.
- Liaise with the back office to work on desk or firm-wide projects.
- Investigate potential profitable strategies and new products.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops provided by the London office.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree, preferably in economics, energy, or finance.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic programming skills in Python, R, C++, or similar languages are desirable but not essential.
- Interest in financial markets and trading.
