Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate with Vessel Command and PSA Terminal for adjustment of Vessel Speed to achieve direct berth on arrival for bunker saving
  2. Ensuring Arrival Bay Plan is uploaded without error to PSA and to clear any discrepancies.
  3. Ensuring Forecast from Partners are received within Specific Time
  4. Ensuring Partners load within their Balance to Load
  5. Ensuring the loading (TEUS / Cargo Weight) do not exceed feeder vessel's capacity when in charge of our in-house feeder
  6. Check and tally for All DG/RF/Special Cargo document (LISP) and to follow up on any short fall
  7. Handling DG queries, Awkward Cargo queries, BBK costing and handlling ops coordination
  8. Responding to Local Ops exception, recovering process and cargo / damage claim.

 

Intern will be given an overview of the department and be guided on daily tasks handled by our staff. This can give the intern an insight of how shipping industry work and we believe this experience will equip him/her with the required skills for future.
