This internship is your first step towards account management and business development, if that is what you are looking to do in future!
Your role is simple - make the merchants you are in-charge of become Super Merchants with Pace. For them to become a Super Merchant, you need to make sure they know how to use Pace to their advantage, and you help them along the way for this!

JOB DESCRIPTION
Be the forefront of the company, the face of Pace for the merchants, and the voice of the merchants to Pace
Own the entire merchant relationship by verticals, geographical areas or even entire enterprise-level merchants
Be the walking dictionary of Pace products - able to best advise merchants on how to use Pace to create incremental sales
Assist the client success team in daily tasks, such as onboarding, activation and re-engagement of merchants
Work with the client success team to implement projects that value add to the experience of our merchants and partners
Work cross-functionally within Pace, to provide feedback about customer needs, in order to drive future product development
Develop customised proposals that help articulate Pace’s benefits, and drive sales for Merchants and Partners
International Exposure: During the internship, the intern will be tasked with one of the following: (1) Setting up retail operations in other regions; and/or (2) Support regional Client Success Managers. In (1), the intern can expect to source for implementation partners, figure out contextual and cultural differences by working with regional teams, and set up a country-specific operational process in Pace new regions. In (2), the intern can expect to be working in a pair with a client success manager based in one of Pace’s regional offices, and join discovery calls, training session, prepare review decks, and work with top overseas/regional merchants to provide a customised solution, as well as dedicated support
