Padang & Co – Design & Media Intern

As a Design & Media Intern at Padang & Co, you will experience first-hand how we bring together stakeholders and people from diverse communities and create the conditions for them to collaborate to solve real-world problems. In the past six years, we have organised over 60 hackathons and challenges and well over 100 workshops.

You will gain hands-on experience in the process - from conceptualising and storyboarding to designing for campaigns and events, from experimenting with film and photography techniques to facilitating workshops.

You will get a chance to:

· Create and deliver quality content, visual materials and creative designs for Padang & Co, our sister companies and partners

· Work with our Designer to conceptualise, ideate, plan and execute creative campaigns 

· Plan and facilitate internal ideation and content creation sessions 

· Create wireframes and design microsites for our events

· Learn how to run social media adverts effectively to reach relevant audiences 

· Execute campaigns on social media platforms

· Create and execute a video plan for a variety of events, including workshops and hackathons

· Photograph / film events, edit photos / video footage, and create highlight reels / short video content

It would be great if you are:

· a team player, who enjoys the energy of a startup

· a independent worker who is organised and detail-oriented, whilst multi-tasking 

· a dreamer who is interested in learning beyond your job scope, and is always seeking new ways of working 

· studying design and /or media-related course, or have graduated with a design and media diploma

· experienced with design software, and photo and / or video equipment

Work with our core team - a diverse group of people from different parts of the world who have varied interests in design, copywriting, film, photography, events, and making things (projects) happen.
