Based at the Global Call Centre within the Corporate Office in Singapore, we are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join us as a Reservations Intern.

Job Description

You will be reporting to the Head of Central Reservation Office and be responsible for the smooth operations of the Global Central Reservation Office (CRO) in accordance with the objectives, performance, and quality standards established by the company as well as maintaining high service standards in conjunction with Pan Pacific Hotels Group Vision, Purpose and Values.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inquiries and obtain correct information regarding details of the reservation.
  • Answer, confirm, and process reservation requests. Ensure all information pertaining to reservations is properly taken and entered into the system.
  • Maximize hotel revenue by turning inquiries into reservation sales, upsell whenever possible.
  • Ensure that all daily transactions are entered into the system and updated accordingly within the stipulated turnaround time.
  • Ensure that all follow-ups are done promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure that no-show, traces, missing correspondences and airport car transfer reports are followed up promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain proper filing and recording of all correspondence.
  • Manage online booking inquiries and assist guests and travel partners with questions throughout entire booking cycle.
  • Any other duties of a comparable nature may be required.

The Person:

  • Diploma or GCE ‘O’ or ‘N’ level
  • Able to take on shift work, including working on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday
  • High standards of accuracy and excellent time management
  • Fluent in English is a must. Knowledge of Mandarin and other languages will be an advantage
  • Very good written and oral skills
  • Good knowledge of ORS / Opera system will be an advantage
