Based in Singapore Corporate Office, we are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join us as Sales Intern.

Job Description

The intern’s primary role is to provide support to the Corporate Sales Management team in managing day-to-day liaisons and communications with all PPHG hotels and Global Sales Offices. The intern will be primarily responsible for policing corporate data entry standards and ensuring hotels and Global Sales Offices are meeting the corporate requirements when creating Company and Travel Agent account profiles in the central system.

The intern will expect to gain deeper understanding in the Sales and Sales Management landscape of Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG), and acquire knowledge in the following areas:

  • Learn about the Corporate Request for Proposals (RFPs) process
  • Identify key criteria and requirements when building RFPs for hotels to complete and submit proposals
  • Guide PPHG hotels sales teams and the Global Sales team on specific corporate data entry standards when creating Company and Travel Agent account profiles in the central system
  • Generate accounts production reports for Global Sales managed accounts
  • Obtain an in-depth understanding of how actual Global Sales production numbers are measured against approved individual and team targets for the year

The Person:

  • Basic knowledge of MS office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Excel and Pivot Tables will be an added advantage
  • Analytical mind set and meticulous when handling numbers
  • Takes initiative to follow-up on tasks without being asked to
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
  • Self-motivated, curious to explore and eager to learn
  • Positive attitude towards learning and professional when writing business-related communications
