Paper Lantern Distilling – Marketing and Events Intern

Job Brief:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing and Events Intern to work part-time in a fast-paced start-up environment. 

Responsibilities:

Brand Development:

• Coordinate photo shoots and video shoots including securing venue, gathering of props and handling scheduling to increase social media asset bank
• Visit existing accounts and document marketing activities.
• Create and edit assets for social media - videos and photos of Paper Lantern Gin in different venues and used in different cocktails, events, behind the scenes, etc.
• Research market, identify event opportunities and propose ideas to improve customer experience 

Events Marketing:

• Assist in operations and marketing activities 
• Assist in coordinating operations for events such as securing supplies, entertainment, transportation, location, equipment, promotional material and documentation
• Plan for, attend and take meeting minutes with potential accounts, identifying their needs and opportunities for collaboration or product placement

Required Skills and Experience:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree with a focus on marketing or events
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Highly organized, excellent problem solver, strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize
• Having an interest in Photography is a plus
• Any proficiency in photography & videography will be major plus points
• Good with Illustrator and Photoshop
• Have a pleasant, friendly and outgoing personality
• Have confidence in speaking and presenting
• A dedicated team player with the ability to be independent when required. 
• Able to think creatively, possess good eye for visual aesthetics 
• Flexible to adapt to change and able to pivot quickly
