Founded in 2018, Pâtisserie CLÉ was created by local pastry chefs Germaine Li and Joy Chiam as a way to realise their approach to French desserts- where fresh produce and flavours are the means of invoking comfort and delight in equal measure.

Pâtisserie CLÉ specialises in French Pastries such as Tarts, Entremets and Vienoiseries.
Germaine and Joy first met as students at the internationally-renowned culinary institute Ferrandi Paris in 2016 to do their diploma in French pastry arts.
Job Description
- Have basic knowledge of laminated dough (viennoiserie) and bread
- Prepare and bake all bakery items for the menu and catered events following standardised recipes.
- Assist in developing and testing recipes
- Assist in planning the bakery menu
- Complete daily checks of all mis en place to ensure freshness and quality standards
- Monitor stock movement and be responsible for ordering on your section
- Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Follow the company and kitchen policies, procedures and service standards as per applicable
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
