Job Description

The Opportunity:

Paula’s Choice Singapore is seeking to hire a star Graphic Designer with strong creative skills and a relevant portfolio of work that demonstrates their passion for consumer-centric design. S/he will work with our marketing and customer excellence teams to translate business and marketing needs into impactful creative visual concepts across various channels, consistent with our brand guidelines.

The role requires an innovative individual who can learn fast and adapt designs quickly to include rapidly changing beauty trends on Social Media as well as in E-commerce/Design. With a focus on elevating Paula’s Choice to be best-in-class, s/he must maintain awareness of current industry design standards.

Executing Visual Brand Identity

  • Develop Branding/marketing assets based on brand guidelines, from conceptualisation to end product.
  • Adapt visuals to our key digital and print marketing channels (e.g. EDM / Social Media / Posters / Banners / Sales Display) with suitable copy to complement design ideas.
  • Assist in management of websites: Overall visual design, and layout of pages.
  • Understand key campaign requirements and cooperate with marketing team to create high quality design work that increase CTR.
  • Work with customer excellence team to continuously improve design work based on local consumer preferences
  • Assist and communicate with Malaysia and Indonesia teams in ensuring designs are adapted accordingly.
  • Ensure that all partner-generated brand content and images are aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Engage with external printers or contractors/suppliers/vendors to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met.

 

Administration & Reporting

  • Present finalized design ideas and concepts to the marketing team.
  • Monitoring CTR across all channels and giving weekly design reviews regarding banner/graphic performance.
  • Ensure proper documentation and archiving of all design files for dissemination to teams and partners.

 

Requirements:

  • A High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • At least a Diploma in Art/Design/Creative fields, with 2-4 years of relevant working experience and supporting portfolio.
  • High competency in Adobe creative suite, especially in Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Foundational competency in Adobe InDesign and Premiere Pro.
  • Prior In-house working experience with a brand.
  • A strong track record in project management, able to prioritize and manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with marketing team and external vendors.
  • Some prior experience with photography (preferred).
  • Knowledge of print production, colour codes, formats, etc.
  • Foundational knowledge of ecommerce platforms, preferably with prior experience in Shopify.
  • Foundational knowledge of email marketing, preferably with prior experience in Mailchimp or Klaviyo.
