Improve the visibility of supply chain incidents and the velocity of information flow from end to end. For example, the impact of a delayed shipment from raw material supplier should be assessed quickly from a finished goods perspective, or a demand spike from a customer should be assessed fast enough in order to secure the raw materials. The project aims to create such transparency across the supply chain and reduce the manual work done by individual planners. And the transparency will be brought to next level for decision making, which includes but not limited to forecast adjustment, safety stock strategy, materials allocation logic, freight mode selection, etc.
The candidate should be a fast learner to understand the business and supply chain network of P+F. In order to quickly understand the pain points, he/she may be assigned with basic routine tasks at the beginning. The project can be highly data driven so the candidate should be proficient in Excel at least.
