Job Description

As an Operations Executive dedicated at our Rise Above Halfway House, your primary objectives are to ensure the safety, security, and smooth functioning of the halfway house day-to-day operations. Your role encompasses a range of responsibilities aimed at maintaining a secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors. 

  • Ensure the overall security of the premises by following the Halfway House’s SOPs to prevent unauthorised access and mitigate potential risks
  • Oversee and actively contribute to the smooth running of operations (24-7 operations)
  • Conduct regular patrol to identify and address any security vulnerabilities
  • Maintain an updated log of security matters, ensuring accurate documentation
  • Ensure seamless handover and takeover of shifts, fostering a smooth transition between operational periods
  • Monitor and control access points to maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Facilitate the secured entry and exit of residents, staff, and visitors to the Halfway House
  • Conduct routine security checks using handheld metal detectors and perform bag searches
  • Prioritise the overall safety and well-being of residents, and attending to any emergency needs promptly
  • Assist in the issuance of meals and, when necessary, facilitate the distribution of medications to residents
  • Act as the first point of contact for any incidents during your duty period
  • Promptly report all incidents to the management, providing detailed and accurate information for further action
  • Undertake supplementary responsibilities within your role as delegated by your Reporting Officer, which may include active involvement and support in the Halfway House’s events and programs and also to participate as a member of committees for organisational events
