You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day business operations of the pet store; liaising with pet lovers in order to ensure the purchase transaction goes smoothly. You are expected to help them choose between the company’s array of goods and services, process payments and maintain a high-level of customer service and relations. You may have the chance to be involved in handling and interacting with pets too.
Key Duties:
- Greeting, advising and assisting customers.
- Operating cash registers and processing payments.
- Stocktaking, replenishing stocks and receiving goods.
- Providing customers with product information
- Promoting products by upselling and cross-selling.
- Arranging product displays and maintaining sales floor appearance and cleanliness
- Handling customer feedback
- Receiving goods
- Other adhoc duties assigned
