Plan B is an initiative by Singapore multidisciplinary artist - I Am Not David Lee . Plan B allows the artist to bring together consultancy, design, marketing and culture. The imprint now sits in an intersection between contemporary lifestyle and culture and streetwear.
Plan B has paved the way for the artist to work on special projects and collaborate with brands across product ranges, from watches to furniture. Plan B also allowed the artist to partner with TOMS, Forever, Feiyue to design special edition products and even a TOMS concept store in Singapore in 2015.
The basic aim of partnership executive is to increase the amount of collaboration projects with brands and businesses. A partnership executive is to expand the artist's partnership and collaboration opportunity, perhaps by breaking out into new sectors or using new methods of reaching and communicating with potential leads. So, creative and strategic thinking is likely to be essential. Maintaining current partnership relationships will still be important.
Day to day responsibilities might include:
- Research potential new leads and keeping on top of developments in the art, design, lifestyle, streetwear, fashion industry
- Contacting prospective partners through a variety of mediums - including social media, websites, magazines and emailing/telecall/zoomcall or meeting in person
- Working closely with the artist to help align the need if the partners and artist
- Keeping on top of admin task - paperwork, presentation, database
- Holding presentation and demonstration for potential partners
- Communicating with existing and new partners to maintain relationships
- Manage partners project, including coordination with suppliers, artist, contractors
- Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly activity and partnership targets
