Poppy and Co. started a year ago, distributing their debut product, Speculoos Cookie Butter to cafes and bakeries in Singapore. Our Speculoos Cookie Butter is sold at over 20 retail locations in Singapore including Isetan Singapore, Naiise Pop-up Stores at Wheelock, Westgate and Central. We also distribute to popular bakeries like Fluff Bakery, Cake Spade, Bloomsbury Bakers and Spatula.
Come third quarter 2015, we will be launching a new food product and thus, require more help than ever, to expand the company's foot print in Singapore's interesting F&B industry.
Working environment at Poppy and Co. is very much enjoyable, friendly and flexible. We are currently looking to have someone who is outgoing, loves dessert (and food in general), meeting with business owners (think owners of cafes and retailers in Singapore) to talk about our product and their businesses, find cool events that our company can participate in, enjoys writing, photography and surfing the internet!
You will be tasked to meet customers and/or business partners after training thus, good social skills and independence is a necessity.
Reaching out to bloggers and engaging with our customers on social media platforms will also be part of your job scope. You are definitely at an advantaged if you're good in writing, have a good sense of aesthetics and have some knowledge on basic photography.
Before all of those can be done, you'll definitely need to spend some time in office to do some market research, read up on our products (and competitor's) to equip yourself with the right information to go on the field.
Basically, there will be opportunities for you to meet many young bosses in Singapore and be prepared for what it takes to be an entrepreneur yourself after graduation!
