We have developed a novel wearable device, GATOR PODs, for the knee joint. This device aims to provide a range of biomechanical measurements, by leveraging a modular and scalable multi-sensor platform. These measurements are used by the clinician to assess the functional performance of the knee joint accurately during natural dynamic movement, thereby enabling a range of clinical applications such as screening, diagnosis support, and recovery tracking.

Job Description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The intern will: 

  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, customer demographics, and market potential to gather relevant information for sales and marketing strategies. 
  • Assist in identifying and generating leads through various channels, such as online research, social media platforms, trade shows, or networking events. 
  • Provide support to the sales team by assisting in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts. Update and maintain customer databases and CRM systems. 
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, including offline and online initiatives, to promote products or services, increase brand awareness, and drive customer engagement. 
  • Assist in managing customer relationships by providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, and maintaining regular communication with clients. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and creative departments, to ensure smooth coordination and implementation of marketing initiatives.

LEARNING OUTCOMES & OBJECTIVES: 

By the end of this internship, you should have: 

  • Gain a solid understanding of various sales and marketing techniques, including lead generation, customer segmentation, market research, and campaign management. 
  • Apply theoretical marketing concepts to real-world scenarios by participating in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, content creation, and market research projects. 
  • Develop sales and negotiation skills by assisting in sales support activities, interacting with clients, and observing experienced sales professionals. 
  • Enhance collaboration and communication skills by working closely with cross-functional teams, sharing ideas, and effectively presenting marketing strategies and campaign results. 
  • Learn to build and maintain customer relationships by providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, and effectively managing customer interactions. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently enrolled in business school at an accredited university. 
  • Interest in Sales & Marketing. 
  • Strong academic record with an interest in healthcare, technology, and innovation. 
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. 
  • Prior experience in a business setting is a plus.
