Roles & Responsibilities

Trainee to be involved in:

1. Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure

2. Prepare and record entries by compiling and analyzing accounts information for the month-end close

3. Maintain and balance the general ledger and sub-ledger accounts

4. Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliation

5. Performing all aspects of the day-to-day financial and management accounting functions

6. Update daily bank receipts and prepare bank reconciliation

7. Prepare payment vouchers, cheque payment issuance and staff claim

8. Prepare debtors aging and intercompany matrix

9. Prepare tax computation and Form

10. Prepare quarterly GST returns

11. Assist in corporate secretarial compliances

12. Any other ad-hoc administrative duties assigned to support clients business operations

13. Not a mandatory requirement but ideally applicant(s) who is able to converse in both English and Mandarin (to liaise with non-English speaking clientele) will be prioritised for an interview first.

Minimum Qualification requirement:

Polytechnic Diploma / LCCI level 2 minimum (Accounting related) graduated in year 2019 or graduating in year 2020
