Blood is the creator of the world’s first Sanitary Pad made from Corn, and is the parent brand of MenstruHeat (menstrual cramp relief) and the Blood Menstrual Cup.
Our products are sold across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore, both direct-to-consumer online and in more than 7,000 retail stores - making more than 12 million periods better so far.

Blood is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media & Content Intern who understands the importance of building connections through storytelling and has a keen interest in digital media content. Working together with the Marketing team, your goal is to develop content and build relationships across all platforms to bring personality and engagement; ultimately driving greater awareness, relevance and traffic for the brand.
About the Role
In this hands-on internship, you'll dive into the world of digital marketing and content creation, gaining valuable experience while contributing to Blood's growing online presence. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a love for social media, a nose for trends, strong creative instincts, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Content Creation: Develop engaging and visually appealing content for Blood’s social platforms and digital ads (90%)
Create exciting and relatable short-form video content across our channels, such as Instagram, TikTok and digital ads.
Manage and plan Blood’s content calendars, and execute social media campaigns to increase brand visibility and engagement.
Work closely with our design team to create exciting visual content to enhance our brand identity.
Support and collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with Blood’s brand values and marketing goals.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, analyze competitor content, and identify opportunities for innovation in our content approach.
Craft compelling and on-brand copy for social media captions and marketing campaigns. Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all content channels that resonates with our target audience and reflects our brand values and identity.
Affiliate Management: Support our growing affiliate program (10%)
Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential brand affiliates and influencers
Help manage existing affiliate relationships and track partnership performance
Coordinate affiliate content creation and campaign deliverables
Monitor and report on affiliate program metrics and success
Required Qualifications
Possess or currently studying for a Diploma/Degree in Media, Marketing, Communications Studies or equivalent
Strong understanding of social media platforms and current digital trends
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic knowledge of design and photo/video editing tools
Creative mindset with an eye for visual storytelling
Strong interest and passionate about creation and ideation of branded content
Proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
Able to commit for a minimum of 24-weeks (6 months) internship
