Job Description

Publicist PR is currently accepting resumes for our Internship program in support of its active lifestyle brand portfolio including beauty and fashion brands.

Qualifications include:

Ability to commit to 3-4 months. Applicants who are student or recent graduates majoring in journalism, communications, public relations or related field. Excellent writing skills and understanding of AP Style. Excellent research skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-oriented environment.
Position offers the following:

Course credit fulfillment where program allows.

1.    Specific course criteria must be provided upon start of program.

2.    Opportunity to build resume and secure references.

3.    Professional experience in a public relations agency environment.

4.    A minimum of 40 hours per week & four-month commitment.

5.    Opportunity to contribute to client campaigns, events and media relations. Mentorship from a dedicated PR Manager.

Duties include media list building, research for events (venues, entertainment, etc.), support for events (staffing, vendor coordination, schedules, RSVPs), efficacy report and reporting (by assignment), sample trafficking & product shipping, trend reporting and competitive brand research. Special project duties include pitch development, release writing and wrap reports.

Must possess strong writing skills and be a hands-on project manager. Will report to team supervisor.
