DUTIES:
- Modify existing website by applying search engine optimization techniques.
- Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments, especially WordPress and Joomla!
- Hands on experience with programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and ASP.net.
- Work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills
- Assist SEO Manager and Account Managers in researching data, providing updates and preparing reports for our clients.
- Monitor, track and report SEO performance, trends & issues.
- Provide pre-SEO support including but not limited to keyword research and site analysis.
- A background in creating reports showing web analytics data and site evaluations is highly desirable
Skills Required:
- Graduate level or equivalent qualification.
- Interest in SEO and new digital technologies.
- Goal oriented, possess exceptional attention to detail, and have outstanding interpersonal skills.
- An understanding of search engines, search engine optimisation and factors that influence high rankings in Google.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver on tight timeframes.
- Ability to interact with the SEO Manager and account managers to make sure that the goals of the client are achieved.
- Competent use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines.
