— key responsibilities
As an Operations and Marketing Intern, you will:
Retail and E-Commerce Operations
- Assist our Head of Operations in managing the operations of our e-commerce and offline retail channels
- Consolidate qualitative feedback from retail sales team for reporting on consumer/competitor/retail trends; identify customer pain points for improvement
- Manage and maintain productive relationships with retail partners
- Assist in the fulfilment of sales orders and product listing
- Support the retail sales team on the sales floor by offering a personalised and exceptional experience to customers (ad-hoc basis)
Inventory Management, Reporting, & Analysis
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy of data in POS and inventory management system
- Create and analyse weekly/monthly sales and product performance reports to improve product sell-through; identify inventory risks and opportunities
- Manage allocation of stocks across all selling channels
- Propose and implement replenishment and stock allocation strategies to maximise sales and reach KPI
Marketing & Communications
- Manage r y e’s social media platforms, including community management
- Assist in the consolidation of data for analysis; propose opportunities to grow reach and revenue
- Work with the team to create effective campaigns through a range of marketing activities (i.e. press release, promotions, EDMs, social media, digital ads, events) when required
- Assist in planning marketing calendar and creation of creative briefs; ensure deliverables are met and uploaded according to timeline
- Manage influencer outreach initiatives including identifying potential partners, building and nurturing relationships with them, and assisting in the creation of PR kits
— who you are
- An affable team player who takes initiative, is enthusiastic, and self-motivated
- Possesses strong organisational and leadership skills as well as written and verbal communication skills
- Agile with numbers and has a good foundation in Microsoft Excel; proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a bonus
- Knowledge of basic marketing principles; previous usage of digital advertising platforms and tools (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Google) will be advantageous
- Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit with high commercial instinct and retail mindset
- Prior work experience in retail/e-commerce platform/inventory management system would be advantageous
- Customer-centric and a keen interest in the fashion industry
