About the Team: 

Rakuten Asia is looking for an HR Intern to join our HR & Administration Department to create a great work office with the facilities team. As a member of the HR team, you would be able to shape and promote a positive culture and work environment.

There will also be an opportunity to have hands-on experience in other HR/ administrative functions and gain valuable experience. Most importantly, you will gain a good understanding of how the human resource function is a pivotal role in the success of our organization.

You will be able to put into practice what you’ve learnt in school, develop new skills from actual experience, and more importantly broaden your horizon beyond your course of studies.

Responsibilities:

Facilities Management & Administrative Support

The HR Intern will be given the opportunity to conduct feasibility studies for Green Mark Certification, sustainability effort, operation improvement as well as involvement to organise a full renovation of a bare office space.

  • Connect with BCA & Building Management to conduct a feasibility study for Green Mark Certification – Interior / Healthier Workplace
  • Prepare all necessary documentation regarding certification in consultation with the Department Head
  • Plan & propose sustainability effort to promote workplace wellness in line
  • Review, document and propose improvement to facilities operational process
  • Participate in office renovation project

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Recent graduate / Candidate undergoing Facilities Management studies preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills as you will be working closely with various stakeholders
  • Good knowledge in Office365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Able to work well independently and in a team
  • Maintain high discretion in handling confidential information
  • Meticulous and has good organizational skills
  • Prior HR internship experience is a plus
