Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Have a comprehensive understanding of all the food and beverages served in the Café.
  • Always provide and maintain a high level of customer service standard.
  • Build customer relations to create an elevated and hospitable Café experience.
  • Upselling and recommending menu items and/ or merchandise to customers.
  • Maintain the environment of the Café according to the Company’s protocols and in-line with the food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Prepare all Café orders according to the Company’s standards and maintaining the quality and consistency of the coffee.
  • Regular maintenance and care of the coffee equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area which includes but not limited to clearing, cleaning and washing.
  • Regular checks on the inventory and stock level, replenishment and handling the delivery and receiving of stocks.
  • Handle cashiering and processing of payments.
  • Working collaboratively with other team members, proactively communicating regarding the Café operations and sharing ideas to elevate the Café experience.
  • Support in any other Café roles or assigned tasks, whenever required.


Requirements

  • Having previous experience as a Barista or in a similar capacity is preferred, but not required, as training will be provided.
  • Having a passion for the coffee culture and coffee-making.
  • Enjoy meeting and communicating with people and having the passion to work in a service line.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • 44 working hours per week.
  • Flexibility to work shift hours, weekends and Public Holidays.
