Ramboll – Communications and Marketing Intern

Overview

The Ramboll Communications team seeks a dynamic, self-starter to support in marketing and communications efforts across the Middle East and Asia Pacific region. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of communications and marketing in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Ramboll Communications Internship is a professional skills internship to assist the Communications Manager in implementing organizational communications and marketing strategies. The Communications Intern will work independently and in a team to fulfil organisational goals and initiatives related to internal and external communications, marketing efforts in Singapore, planning for virtual events, social media creation and management, and creative copywriting.

Responsibilities

• Internal Communications – Handle routine internal communications queries and requests; liaise with internal stakeholders to draft, edit and publish news and updates through the intranet (Rambla), Newsletters, Executive Presentations, and emails
• External Communications – Draft and edit articles, releases, pitch letters, backgrounders, fact sheets, project references, biographies, newsletters, newsflashes (e-blast) and other communications materials
• Media relations – Create and maintain a database of media contacts, events, speaking opportunities, awards, and editorial calendars.
• Industry and market analysis – Proactively identifying and profiling thought leadership opportunities
• Creative outreach ideas – Conceptualize and develop assets for traditional and online media
• Social Media – Update and maintain Ramboll’s social media presence, including daily monitoring, posting, scheduling, and reporting updates
• Collaboration – Provide input for creative marketing strategies and social media campaigns; conceptualising novel out-of-the-box ideas, directions, and tools for marketing and communications
• Scholastic credentials: Ideally pursuing a degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field
• Interests: In hearty conversations that feed the soul, a career in Communications
• Commitment: A minimum of 3-6 months
• Language skills: highly proficient in written and spoken English
• Computer skills: If you’re born in the digital generation, great! But you must be proficient in basics like the Microsoft Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel; and Windows/OS systems
• General understanding of social media marketing i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram
• Familiar with creative content production including photo and video editing software.
• Possesses: Excellent written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills; Self-starter, open to direct feedback, good time management, creative and efficient, professional, loves pugs; Able to work well independently, and within a team
