Job Description

Marketing Intern - Ethicon

(Credit bearing internship or Non-credit bearing internship - Require LOA) 

Coordinate Marketing Events

  • Facilitate marketing events i.e. workshop, conferences by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Marketing Assets – assist with creating, designing and developing artwork designs and promotional materials to effectively communicate key selling messages
  • Workshops / Product Training / Conferences - prepare materials and be on-site to support the team when required
  • Review and manage sample stocks for workshops

 

Assist with New Product Launches and Brand Reminder Campaigns

  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to prepare for new product launches
  • Conduct market research, voice of customer projects, and provide relevant insights and updates of market intelligence on industry and competitors
  • Product and market development projects - assess feasibility of proposed new products, plan and assist in new product introductions, prepare new product sales support and presentation materials
  • Develop effective marketing plans and implement tactical marketing programs and messages in line with marketing plan

 

Business Strategy Support 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams for execution of franchise activities
  • Business data analysis e.g. sales analysis, call planning etc.
  • Secondary market research – competition analysis, data gathering, etc.
  • Pricing management support

 

Ad-hoc Projects

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business with specialization in Marketing or Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Degree in Biological Science
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to handle projects independently
  • Proactive team player
  • Conscientious with keen interest to learn
