We are looking for a proactive, independent and highly adaptive individual to be part of our Global Engineering Expansion team.
The position requires one to be comfortable working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment, have good project management, process and integration skills and mindset for continuous improvement.
Selected candidate will be required to work closely with different stakeholders (Vendors/equipment/technology/operations) to introduce new technology or processes and ensuring its’ stability after implementation.)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities:
SAFETY:
- Perform risk assessments to ensure all measures are taken to prevent injuries or accidents before commencing any work.
- Identify and report any hazard.
Project:
- Initiate and lead projects relating to cost reduction, efficiency/power, and reliability improvements.
- Work with stakeholders from cross functional teams to establish the project timeline, the execution plan and identify the resources required.
- Identify any risk pertaining to safety as well as any potential delay and provide alternative solutions to the issue.
- Ensure the timely completion of key milestones as well as delivery of key project indicators.
- Lead in resolving any quality issues and providing timely updates on the progress.
- Perform data analysis to identify opportunity for improvements or support any ongoing investigations
Benchmarking:
- Familiarize with current market news and trend
- Perform benchmarking studies to understand various vendor and competitor cell performances.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research:
- Perform research on improvement ideas and carrying out experiments to test hypothesis.
Qualifications
- Degree in Materials / Chemical Engineering
- Knowledge in semiconductor/solar cell and module processes preferred.
- Strong knowledge and experience in process integration & development methods
- Knowledge in PFMEA, DFMEA, DOE, Fish-Bone Analysis,
- Strong technical analysis competency with the use of analytical tools like JMP, Mini-Tab for troubleshooting and datamining
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and render support to production as and when needed.
- Strong in organization and project management
- Good communication skill.
- Commitment to get issues resolved and provide updates in a timely manner
- Dynamic & committed with proactive working attitude
- Ability to initiate without being asked
