The Role of a Recruitment Intern

A Recruiter’s job is a hybrid role – it is not just about recruitment. It also encompasses business development, account management, marketing, customer service all rolled into one. It is about understanding people’s needs and motivations, and managing clients’ and candidates’ expectations. It is also about building relationships. A challenging role indeed, but a very meaningful one!

Responsibilities: 

  • Talent Acquisition: Engage in candidate sourcing activities, such as publishing job advertisements and conducting candidate referrals, to ensure a consistent supply of candidates to meet client's needs.
  • Candidate Management: Manage candidates’ job needs and expectations, their payroll and employment benefits.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE A Level / Diploma in any studies / Undergraduates in any studies
  • Driven, goal-oriented, responsible and self-initiative to make things happen
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic, team based environment and comfortable talking to people! 
  • Possess enthusiasm and most importantly, passion for people
  • Able to commit minimum 3 months period
  • Applicants with good track record in sports or other co-curricular activities in school will have an added advantage
