Job Description

6/9 months Contract Acturial / Pricing Executive (Insurance) (SGUnited Traineeship)


  • Responsible for pricing of existing/new products to ensure profitability targets are met with adequate consideration to the inherent risks in the portfolio
  • Assist in preparation of discussion materials for the product committee meetings
  • Carrying out regular experience analysis (including MI reports) for the individual and group business to ensure management has sufficient in-sights into the business
  • Support the product implementation (including UAT/Sign-off system issues/product summary)
  • Providing support for ad-hoc requests 
  • Support reinsurance team in calculating and checking reinsurance premiums and claims recoveries

Technical Skills and Competencies Trainee will learn during SGUnited Traineeship Programme:

  • Conduct price modelling to determine feasibility of pricing strategie
  • Standard MS Office applications and programming languag
  • Data analysis

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma / Degree in Acturial Science/ Mathematics
