Job Description

Responsibilities:

The main role of the Museum Intern will be to manage the exhibition content as well as special projects for the Red Dot Design Museum, this includes:


Exhibition Content

  • Conceptualise and produce collateral to promote exhibition space
  • Research for potential exhibitors, contact and meet them to promote exhibition space. 
  • Fielding enquiries from the potential exhibitors
  • Meeting and presenting to potential exhibitors 
  • Copywriting for marketing collateral and press material for the museum
  • Liaise with overseas and local exhibitors on the logistics and delivery of the exhibits to Singapore
  • Assist in the creative planning of the exhibition layout 
  • Co-ordinate the entire setup to see to the timely launch of the exhibition


Marketing project (Singapore Design City)

Intern has to assist in the development and execution of a new Design City project and campaign. This includes: 

  • conceptualise and produce collateral to promote the Design City project 
  • research and identify the partners attractions that make up the Design City
  • copywrite for the introduction of each spots
  • explore marketing channels for the Design City 
  • build and maintain the Design City and the museum’s social network outreach 
  • engage the creative businesses in marketing the Design City to their patrons.


Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Resourceful
  • Writes well
  • Good organisational skills; and
  • Works well under pressure
  • Proficient in photoshop, illustrator, indesign a plus
