Job Description

Responsibilities

Candidate will play an active role in the development of the organisation’s social media and PR presence. Candidate will research and target top influencers and up-and-comers in the tech & design industry. Candidate will regularly analyze and report on the activity of our social media networks and assist the team on media relations matters.

Specific project / learning outcomes

Candidate will be exposed to the following:

  • Compiling, tracking, summarising and reporting on media coverage;
  • Drafting communications materials (e.g. writing press releases and briefing documents);
  • Conducting background research on companies and topics;
  • Maintaining contact lists, editorial forward features lists, and event calendars;
  • Maintaining media relations/ media monitoring (e.g. liaising with journalists, distributing press releases, providing support for press conferences);
  • Pitching for new communication channels (e.g. conducting research on prospects/ media partnerships, creating and editing PowerPoint / Keynote presentations and proposals and participating media pitches)


Requirements:

Proficient in written English

Chinese, Korean a plus 


Internship period: April to August
