We are looking for a marketing & social media intern to join our work family and grow our capabilities in content creation and community building with us. Only Intern Positions (full-time basis, part-timers need not apply) are available with the opportunity to convert to a Full-Time position after completion of 6 months.
Job Description
We are looking for an all-rounded Marketing & Social Media Associate to join our team. If you are tech-savvy, passionate in using social media to promote design, music and lifestyle content, we would like to meet you. Our ideal candidate has exceptional visual and written communication skills, and is a keen ideator in developing engaging marketing and activation ideas. You should love creating content for websites, EDMs, social media platforms Instagram and TikTok (preferably with an existing public account to share your abilities on social media), and have a flair for writing in diverse styles.
This person will be responsible for assisting the directors in coordinating and executing community building, digital marketing and social media content initiatives for both internal and client projects, including content strategy and execution, with the primary objectives being to increase account following and brand awareness for each respective project. The person will also be required to reach out to appropriate KOLs to drive traffic leading to conversions and eventually revenue.
Our ideal candidate is fast learner, keen to delve deep into the latest social media content trends, personable and relational, analytical, and ideally has experience working with visual communications and relevant design tools. This person is also personable and able to build strong relationships with community, influencers, media and more. They can work independently but also works well in a team, values relationships and is dependable and trustworthy.
Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Ideate, produce and manage relevant, original, and high-quality content daily across all social media platforms to drive community growth, incremental sales and achieve business goals
- Develop a weekly and monthly social media calendar and ensure that the content is on schedule
- Increase brand awareness through content marketing, such as writing copy for diverse marketing distributions on website and social media
- Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks
- Responsible in managing all social media channels and day to day activities which includes developing relevant content topics to reach the company’s target audiences
- Organize online activations, leverage on social media community tools, and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
Marketing
- Market Analysis of the latest trends in design, music and lifestyle
- Developing partnerships and collaborations with relevant brands and other influencers for community awareness and growth, across design, music and lifestyle
- Build relationships with design industry stakeholders (i.e. graphic designers), customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists
- Developing Social Media Marketing Strategies and activations to promote new product launches

Requirements
- High-school Diploma, Degree undergraduate or recent local polytechnic graduate, preferably from Marketing, Mass Communications, Design or similar field
- Be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for digital marketing and social media, with expert knowledge of Instagram and Tik Tok, keeping up with new trends and tools
- Personable, pleasant, street-smart, adaptable, strong attention to detail, ability to multitask
- Enjoy communicating with people and always eager to learn new things
- Resourceful, fast and efficient and able to work independently
- Working knowledge of Canva / Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop/Premiere Pro (portfolio preferred)
