Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and digitally savvy Marketing Intern to lead our social media content creation and community engagement efforts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. This internship is ideal for students or fresh graduates who are passionate about storytelling, design, and fintech, and who want to grow real-world experience with a fast-paced startup.
You will play a critical role in shaping the brand voice of RizqX, reaching out to our growing community of over 20,000 users, and helping make ethical finance accessible, engaging, and relatable.
Key Responsibilities
Create, design, and schedule engaging social media content (carousels, reels, infographics, videos, etc.) tailored for each platform
Write captions, hooks, and hashtags that reflect RizqX’s brand voice and resonate with our community
Develop and maintain a content calendar for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook
Assist in the development of campaigns, educational series, and community spotlights
Monitor trends in the personal finance and fintech space and integrate them into our content strategy
Support in basic analytics reporting (e.g. reach, engagement, click-throughs) and iterate content accordingly
Help build and execute community activation initiatives (giveaways, polls, Q&As, testimonials)
Ideal Candidate
Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
Strong proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or any other content creation tools
Familiarity with major social media platforms and what kind of content performs best on each
Has a portfolio or examples of content previously created (school, personal, or freelance)
Interest or background in basic financial literacy is a strong bonus
Self-starter with a good sense of storytelling, humour, and timing
Fluent in written English (Malay is a bonus for reaching the Malay-Muslim community)
