Robert Bosch (SEA) Pte Ltd – Intern – Data Engineer (AquaEasy)

The Intern is responsible to assist the data engineer for the deployment and operation of AI automation systems and solution for aquaculture farming automation including development, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of the system.

Key responsibilities

Support Operations with:

· Monitor, provide technical support and analytical feedback on data related to daily farming operations

· Perform analysis and methods to apply to the farming data for insight

· Perform data collection, ETL and other necessary data transformation for deployed ML/DL models

· Perform data labeling as necessary to improve deployed models

· Perform data visualization and BI reporting, when necessary

Support R&D team with:

· Provide feedback and discuss process and product improvement

· Assist with the implementation of research ideas and

· Improve, propose new and support existing and future hardware and automation solutions

· Hands on and get dirty with research and or product development on identified problems

Research and development activities

· Support the R&D team

· Provide feedback and discuss product improvement

· Improve, propose new and support existing and future hardware and automation solutions

Qualifications

· Able to program and do analysis in Python and/or Java

· Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to engage with users in a professional manner and plainly present technical concepts

· Hunger to learn new things and ability to scale with new challenges outside of his/her area of work

· High energy, pro-active, responsible, independent, self-motivated and diligent

· Caring for team and customers with excellent people skills

· Preferably full time at office/shrimp farms but part time candidates are welcome as well

Eligibility

• Applicant must be enrolled throughout internship period, or plan to pursue further studies
• For foreign students studying in Singapore on Student's Pass, you must fulfill the following requirements to be able to do full-time internship during the school term:
• You are a full-time matriculated or registered student in one of the approved institutions.
• You hold a Student Pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
• The internship is under an industrial attachment programme conducted by your university or educational institution. The industrial attachment can be either compulsory or elective but it must contribute towards your graduation requirements.
