The candidate will work on development and testing for an IOT based air filter sensor to ensure smooth operation of tests, results collection, and analysis. The candidate will support the improvement of existing H/W and S/W for a IOT sensor system and assist in the development of new AI-based algorithms. Specifically, the candidate will work on
- Sensor hardware troubleshooting, e.g. LED, electronics, mechanical faults.
- Sensor software troubleshooting, e.g. data processing & storage, and cloud connectivity.
- Back-end data processing and display.
- Analyze results with statistical tools to provide insights for further test and algorithms improvement.
- Liaising with participants regularly and when needed to ensure data from sensor modules are properly displayed.
Qualifications
- Able to work full time for a period of 6 months (Jan – Jul 2022)
- Undergraduate studies in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Experienced in statistical data analysis.
- In depth understanding of computer programming.
- Knowledge of sensors.
- Applicant must be enrolled throughout internship period, or plan to pursue further studies
- For foreign students studying in Singapore on Student's Pass, you must fulfill the following requirements to be able to do full-time internship during the school term:
- You are a full-time matriculated or registered student in one of the approved institutions.
- You hold a Student Pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
- The internship is under an industrial attachment programme conducted by your university or educational institution. The industrial attachment can be either compulsory or elective but it must contribute towards your graduation requirements.
