  • Collaborate with product owners, internal stakeholders, and external partners to understand customer needs and translate them into work packages.
  • Participate in technical development projects, specifically focusing on customer analytics in the area of assisted living and nutrition using language models, knowledge bases and other AI standard tools.
  • Create innovative technical concepts, integrating IoT technology into consumer-facing businesses.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions, following a user-centered approach and rapidly testing and iterating implemented solutions.
  • Support team members in their daily tasks and conduct basic data gathering experiments.

Qualifications

  • Able to work full time for a period of 6 months from Jan 2025
  • Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R or Python's statistical libraries (e.g., NumPy, SciPy, pandas) for data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and exposure to use of language models both in generative use cases and other natural language domains is a plus.
  • Additionally, familiarity with tuning large language models and previous working experience with knowledge graphs or other knowledge bases is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good grasp of engineering fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for technology.
  • Eager, quick learner with a strong team-work spirit.

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be enrolled throughout internship period, or plan to pursue further studies
  • For foreign students studying in Singapore on Student's Pass, you must fulfill the following requirements to be able to do full-time internship during the school term:
  • You are a full-time matriculated or registered student in one of the approved institutions.
  • You hold a Student Pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
  • The internship is under an industrial attachment programme conducted by your university or educational institution. The industrial attachment can be either compulsory or elective but it must contribute towards your graduation requirements.
