Rolls-Royce is offering three (3) training opportunities for aspiring engineers in Engineering in the Oil & Gas sector. This new programme calls for energetic, dynamic engineers, either recently graduated or with up to 2 years working experience, who wish to pursue a challenging career in the Oil & Gas industry. Successful applicants will be attached to the Rolls-Royce's operations in UK for eighteen (18) months of training which is scheduled to commence in Quarter 1, 2007. Trainees will be paid a salary plus & a living allowance for the duration of the training. On completion, the successful applicants will be required to work in Singapore for at least 2 years at Rolls-Royce (Energy) Pte Limited. Candidates should fulfill the following requirements: - ? Good degree (2:1) in Mechanical Engineering (Controls bias) or Electrical Engineering (Controls bias). Combined degrees e.g. Engineering and Business are also acceptable. ? Relevant job experience in the Oil & Gas industry. (This is a preferred requirement for experienced applicants.) ? Good communication, interpersonal & leadership skills ? Independent, resourceful & keen to learn ? A ???hands-on??? approach towards work ?
