Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the BMW Group and is a completely separate company from Rolls-Royce plc, the manufacturer of aircraft engines and propulsion systems. Over 2,000 skilled men and women are employed at the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ head office and manufacturing plant at Goodwood, West Sussex, the only place in the world where the company’s super-luxury motor cars are hand-built.

Scoop Consulting supports the Asia Pacific Regional branch of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Singapore for its PR and administrative needs.
We are looking for a highly dynamic, independent and passionate individual. Comfortable with home-working, is deadline-oriented, has a strong interest in communications and is an internet sleuth. You must be a consummate team player, adept multi-tasker, organised and a cross cultural person.
You must relish the challenge of innovative problem-solving, be comfortable with business communications with various parties, savvy with social media, and a strong interest in luxury/lifestyle.
Ideally, we are searching for someone who has the visual nous for great pictures and a good story line – anotherwords understands the power and importance of communications for a super-luxury brand. To fulfil this role you must demonstrate you are adaptive, culturally sensitive, yet highly results and time management-oriented.
The role is an excellent platform for future opportunities within the automotive and luxury sector and is offered for a mimimum commitment of 7 months.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Studies in Mass Communications, Marketing, Business, Journalism, Media Studies or
equivalent
Confident communicator, creative, enthusiastic, flexible, resilient and with good humour, listening skills and a positive attitude, willing to learn
Excellent fluent and written English and Mandarin skills required
Good IT and typing skills – especially with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
Adaptive to changing environments and be able to manage ambiguity
Commercial awareness and customer focus (with regards to key stakeholders, external or internal), high achievement orientation
SUPPORT FUNCTION
Not limited to but includes:
Regional research and intelligence: daily media monitoring, facts checking for news releases and fact sheets
Compile meeting summaries, status reports and other materials as directed
Liaison with media, suppliers, internal organisation
Assist with social media campaigns
Attends and participates in meetings, media training sessions,
presentations, and brainstorming sessions as directed
Media monitoring of APAC regional online, print media
Assists with the development and updating of media lists and other databases
Assists with the distribution of RRMC information/materials.
Assists with administrative duties including processing, sorting, collating, mailings and other administrative functions as assigned
Assists with the management of newspaper, magazine and periodical inventories for easy access.
