Position: Senior Electrical Technician (Upstream / Downstream)

Salary: UP TO $2500 + OT (UP TO $1000) + AWS + SHIFT ALLOWANCE
Working Hours: Morning shift 7.00am – 4.33pm / 8.00 am – 5.33pm
Night Shift 7.00 pm – 4.33 am / 8.00 pm – 5.33 am
Jobscope
• Perform corrective/ preventive maintenance on machines/ equipment to ensure proper operation
• Perform preventive maintenance, checking and inspection, troubleshooting, repairs and overhauls of machinery and equipment
• Provide electrical and technical support to the Operations team with electrical troubleshooting
• Work on electrical installations, electric drives and motors
• Work on PLC systems and plant automation
• Monitor spare part/ consumable consumption
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and PLC troubleshooting to increase productivity and lower maintenance cost with high up-time
• Maintain electrical drawing library documenting machine details and modifications
• Ensure top notch Safety and housekeeping in area of work
• Support all improvement projects such as machine improvement, productivity improvement and safety improvement projects
Experience
• Minimum GCE N Level, NITEC / ITE or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing / construction environment
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working on electrical installations, electric drives and motors
• Possesses knowledge on PLC systems and plant automation
• Able to interpret electrical circuit and diagram
• Shift work required on rotating basis (Morning and Night)
