Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Mise en place for food service.
- Prepare ingredients and sauces.
- Cook staff meals daily.
- Manage ingredients that should be frequently available on a daily basis.
- Advice Front of House on food allergies and intolerances.
- Be familiar with ingredients used, and seasonality of ingredients.
- Ensure adequacy of supplies at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and kitchen.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist Head Chef with tasks.
- Assist colleagues with work.
- Complete any ad hoc tasks assigned.
Prerequisites:
- At least 2 years experience in French, Italian or Japanese, Korean cuisine.
- Fast learner, a self-starter with positive mindset.
- Be observant and pay attention to details.
- Have excellent personal hygiene and food safety.
- Responsible and a good team player.
- Keen on learning new skills and tasks. Willing to take on challenges.
- Passionate about food service and customer satisfaction.
Staff meals and uniforms provided.
Willing to work weekends and public holidays.
