Job Description

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The successful candidate will play an active role in the planning and execution of external and internal communications activities. You will participate in the conceptualization and implementation of communication campaigns, content generation for traditional and social media channels and in the process, gain insights to the global communications field of work in a multinational organization.

Examples of your day-to-day responsibilities may include but not limited to the following:

  • Creation and distribution of content including media pitches, press releases, byliners, blogs, infographics, videos (filming and editing), speeches, internal announcements and executive briefing documents  
  • Researching industry trends and speaking engagement opportunities
  • Monitor competitors’ news and flag issues
  • Assist with organizing internal events including townhalls
  • Staffing internal and external communication events

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

We are looking for candidates who dare to challenge conventional wisdom, offer unique perspectives and conceive innovative solutions to effectively bridge the communication gap with influential audiences.

  • Currently pursuing diplomas/degrees/Masters in Digital media, Mass Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, Political Science, Business or related fields

Meticulous oral and written English skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Prior work experience in communications, marketing, design or video production will be an advantage
