SRJ specialises in creating artisanal demi-fine jewellery with wide variety of semi-precious natural gemstones. SRJ products are sold worldwide through multiple e-commerce platforms and in Singapore through its boutique retail store in Tanglin Mall. Job Description

We are looking to hire a hard-working, customer-oriented retail shop executive to ensure the smooth running of our in-store retail operations. The shop executive’s responsibilities include welcoming customers to our shop, monitoring customer activities to prevent incidents of shoplifting, arranging window displays accordingly, and processing customer orders. You should also be able to identify customers' needs and recommend suitable shop items that best satisfy their needs. 

To be successful as a shop executive, you should be well-organized and adept at using pricing and labeling equipment. Ultimately, an outstanding shop executive should demonstrate effective communication skills and deliver exceptional customer service at all times. 

This role requires the candidate to have a good understanding of (a) the shop’s POS system, (b) Company and mall’s policies and practices, (c) products offered by the Company. 

This position will suit a self‐motivated individual who possesses strong inter-personal skills. A positive and enthusiastic approach is essential, along with the ability to communicate successfully with customers and senior management. The candidate will get an in‐depth exposure to niche jewellery industry and opportunity to upskill and expand their role and responsibilities over time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the day-to-day business operations of the retail store. 
  • Greeting customers the moment they enter the store and making them feel welcome. 
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed. 
  • Be approachable and be a good listener in discovering customers’ needs. 
  • Recommend a product and solution in meeting customers’ needs & objectives. 
  • Processing customer payments using the shop's Point of Sale (POS) system. 
  • Receiving, processing, and organizing shipments and deliveries accordingly. 
  • Restocking depleted or low shop items and ensuring that the sales floor is organized according to established guidelines. 
  • Assisting customers in locating desired shop items. 
  • Informing customers of shop promotions to encourage purchases. 
  • Performing regular price audits to identify and correct price discrepancies. 
  • Maintaining store neat and tidy at all times and performing end-of-day store cleaning duties. 
  • Addressing and resolving customers enquiries/complaints in a professional manner.
