WellAway is a health tech start-up backed by Pan Malayan Pharmaceuticals, that aims to provide familiar, remote healthcare through an innovative digital platform to travellers who are overseas.
We are looking for curious and enthusiastic interns across a variety of business units to be part of a startup journey in the healthtech space! The journey will provide full hands-on entrepreneurial experience in the innovative healthtech space.
With a challenging and dynamic work environment and an opportunity to convert to a full-time position, successful candidates will get exposure to, and an understanding of the healthtech industry. In addition, they will have the opportunity to work across industries with tech experts in digital transformation and directly engage with senior management.
Your responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with senior management, digital consultants, software developers to execute the mission and vision of WellAway.
- Liaising with internal operations, sales, branding, finance team to align the technological goals with the company.
- Setting a vision for how technology will be used in WellAway
- Keeping up to date with pharmaceutical and telemedicine technology trends, researching on the newest innovations happening and obstacles (legal, compliance etc) in related industries and applying them to WellAway.
- Ensuring that the technological resources are sufficient to meet WellAway’s short term and long term goals.
- Oversee the smooth development and integration of the product with multiple stakeholders to build an ecosystem
- Manage the timelines of the software development of the product.
Qualifications:
- Currently living in Singapore
- Fresh grads and/or current undergraduates are welcome to apply
- Knowledge in various front-end and back-end programming languages is a must
- Undergraduate degree/currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related fields
- Familiarity and interest in problems and innovations occurring within both the tech and healthcare sector
- Strong preference for those who have a track record for entrepreneurship and/or creation of new products
- Excellent communication skills; proven ability to effectively interact with and present (verbally and in writing) to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to think outside the box, creative and possess a problem-solving mentality
- Agile working style with the capacity to adapt fast to changes in business environments
