SCAL Academy Pte Ltd was established in 2009. It is the third wholly-owned subsidiary of The Singapore Contractors Association Ltd (SCAL) which was founded in 1937.
The function of the Association is to look after the diverse needs of construction and her members – from industrial, contractual and technical to training, safety consultancy & audits, manpower, community and welfare services. SCAL Academy Pte Ltd was established to further the objectives to address the industry’s training needs. It plans, designs and conducts training and development courses to help managers and staff at all levels to upgrade their professional, managerial and technical skills and knowledge to support business needs and personal aspirations.
Training Courses
Our diverse range of courses caters to all levels of workforce. As a learning service provider certified by Socotec accredited by Singapore Accreditation Council and an approved training providers for SkillsFuture Singapore, we conduct a wide range of workplace safety and health courses. We are also an Autodesk authorised training center conducting Autodesk Revit Architecture and Structure 2015 Essentials. Others include language, contractual, trade practices and management. We also customise training courses to meet our clients’ needs. Medium of instruction is more than just English for some of the courses to cater to the non-English speaking trainees.
Seminars
Our wide and varied range of topics include safety, environmental, innovations, contractual, legal, financial, government regulations and office & administration skills. Topics and contents are constantly updated to ensure relevance and that trainees are well informed of the latest developments.
Workshops
Our workshops aim to equip our industry practitioners updated with the most current skills and knowledge. Through case studies, lively group discussions and hands-on exercises, our trainees benefit from the learning from our experienced and dedicated trainers.

Job Description
- Handle phone and walk-in enquiries about course information, class schedules availability, course fees payment and others
- Recording daily incoming and outgoing mails
- Perform data entry from feedback forms and conduct course evaluation analysis
- Assist in hosting Zoom sessions for online trainings
- Assist in course coordination duties such as course registration, issuing e-invoice, send course confirmation, liaise with trainers for class schedules, upload results to authorities (MOM and SSG), send e-certificate and ID cards to customers
Requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skill
- Positive, team-player, and energetic attitude
- Strong proficiency in Excel is a must
- Full-time interns preferred (6 months)
