*SCAPE is a Non-profit organisation rooted in support of youth, talent and leadership development. We facilitate youth-oriented programmes and support within various communities of youth interest in Singapore.
*SCAPE’s strategic focus is in three core areas.
•Enable youth to live up to their full potential by supporting them in their areas of interest.
•Provide the network and holistic ecosystem for youth development, both at *SCAPE and beyond.
•Ensure the youth have the platforms and opportunities to express themselves through talent showcases and social participation. The four main areas of engagement are entrepreneurship, urban sports, visual & performing arts and community service.
Summary:
The Strategic Planning & Partnerships team sources for partnership opportunities, plans business partnerships and builds relationships with partners. The Intern, Partnerships shall act as partner advocates and works with internal departments to ensure that partners’ needs are understood and satisfied.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as a point of contact for the partner and building positive and mutually beneficial relationships with partners, striving to identify the offerings which best fit the individual needs of the partners.
- Assisting in the processing and analysis of partners’ data (monitoring partners’ performance and deliverables) and proposals.
- Handling partner complaints (including working with internal departments to resolve conflicts & issues)
- Discussing with and convincing partners to co-create, sponsor and/or support mutually beneficial programs and initiatives
- Identifying opportunities for collaboration with other partners / companies within *SCAPE’s ecosystem
- Research on new and existing partners and keeping abreast of industry and youth trends, growth areas, etc.
- Improving the overall customer experience for the partners
- Cultivating existing and new partners to drive revenue and footfalls
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements:
- High level of communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive and passionate about *SCAPE mission and the partners they serve.
- Resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within *SCAPE, and with external parties.
- Tactful and diplomatic with a proven ability to negotiate and resolve conflict.
- Good comprehension of current youth consumer trends and strong commercial awareness
- Good strategic thinking and strong problem-solving skills. Excellent active listening skills.
