Purpose of the Role:
Support the Diversity & Inclusion Council Asia Pacific by building a Diversity & Inclusion calendar of events and initiatives based on research and benchmark of best practices under consideration of current as well as future trends and organizational priorities. Support the Council in other Diversity & Inclusion related projects and key communication.
Responsibilities:
- Research possible Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and events and benchmark with other companies' and institutions' best practices
- Develop and recommend D&I calendar of events and initiatives that reflect current and future trends as well as organizational priorities
- Craft communication pieces for internal intranet and potentially generating newsletters
- Special projects as necessary
Formal Requisites:
- Bachelor’s undergraduate with studies in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Sciences or equivalent
- Passion/interest and basic understanding of Diversity & Inclusion
- Ability to work close in coordination and collaborate with the Diversity & Inclusion Council AP members, local Human Resources teams and other departments to build relationships and trust with a broad range of individuals across the Asia Pacific region
- Proven track record of being pro-active, reliable, prepared and eager to learn
- Acute attention to detail and follow through, high-level of organization
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Microsoft Office skills e.g. Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
